Peter J. Ellis & Associates was established in 1981. During the subsequent 25 years, projects have been undertaken for a multitude of clients in manufacturing and distribution. Concentration has been on dock-face (receipt) to dock-face (despatch) be it raw materials or purchased finished products to customer. However we have also developed total supply chain skills and draw on other specialised associates when required.

Many projects have been undertaken in Asia, since the first in 1982. We have also participated in project teams within the USA. Rather than just being project based, most of our clients also develop long-term relationships setting up on-going productivity programs. This also enables us to develop long-term strategic plans and be used as a sounding board when considering change within a company.

Our clients come from a broad range of industries. Often this enables us to apply ideas into new industries. We pride ourselves in thinking out-side the square and challenging convention, believing that innovation is the way to be better and that the same solution is not always applicable to companies even in the same industry. We regulary attend international exhibitions to keep abreast of new technologies.

In 2000 our client ‘Acer Computer Australia’ was a category winner in the Logistics Association of Australia’s “National Logistics and Supply Chain Awards”. Acer took out the Doug Beattie Trophy, open to any manufacturing company for a facility concerned with distributing products of their own manufacture.
